YouTube has over a billion users— almost one-third of all people on the internet. And according to Alexa, it’s the second-largest search engine in the world after Google. So if your company isn’t on YouTube, you should seriously consider it.
Here are a few tips to consider when starting your YouTube account:
- Post regular content. Just like many social media platforms, the algorithms thrive on consistency and regular posting. Users are more likely to subscribe to you if they know you are contributing content consistently.
- Use titles and keywords to your benefit. Make sure to use best SEO practices in your titles and description boxes. Use all of the space allowed for the title so you can fit in multiple keywords. The description box is where you have more room to include links and lengthier buzzwords and paragraphs.
- Just like all forms of Marketing, make sure you’re including a call to action. In videos, this is specifically important to mention at the beginning of your video and end. Also, include links in your description box for the customer to be able to learn more about your company and offerings.
